Structural design for two 60-unit apartment building and a 31,500 sf two-story structure with offices on the second floor and retail on the ground level. The upper story of the retail complex consisted of premanufactured trusses on wood stud bearing walls. The second floor framing consisted of a steel beam and post systems with commercial grade floor joists. The first floor walls consist of concrete masonry units (CMU) which provide the lateral support for the building and the floor level is slab on grade.
