SSF has been involved with the Legislative Building since 1998. Work to date has included a detailed seismic evaluation and structural engineering in support of the proposed rehabilitation. SSF recently completed a detailed seismic evaluation of the exterior stone anchorage. Following the Nisqually earthquake, SSF was retained to perform the seismic assessment and assist the owner and contractor with implementing emergency life safety repairs. Post-earthquake work is currently in progress.
