| O'Dea High School
Seattle, Washington
A seismic review of the prestigious
O’Dea High School building constructed in 1923
and designed by Beezer Brothers, as well as later additions
to the school. The scope of work included a review of
previous building studies, study of the existing building
drawings, and a walk through of the structures. The
results were documented in a detailed report to be used
for future fund raising and budgetary needs. Upon completion
of the study, a seismic mitigation and addition was
performed. A new infill library level was added as well
as seismic improvements to the utility lateral system.
