Seattle, Washington
A windsurf board storage structure for a local windsurfing
enthusiast with wood frame of ironwood beams, columns and
decking. The building was constructed on a steeply sloping
site. The foundation is supported by a series of buttressed
pin-pile to provide vertical and lateral support. Due to
difficult site access, materials were lowered down slope to the
site with an intricate cable system and concrete was pumped
down slope to the buidling site from the primary residence
serveral hundred feet above.
