2005 Wood Design Awards
The 2005 Wood Design Awards cited projects by three Seattle firms among 11 selected for accolades. Bohlin Cywinski Jackson received an Honor Award for the Point House, in Montana (landscape design by AIA Seattle Corporate Allied Partner Swift & Company Landscape Architects); Merit Awards went to Cutler Anderson Architects, for Grace Episcopal Church (Bainbridge Island), and to Vandeventer + Carlander Architects for the Madrona House, Seattle (structural engineering by Swenson Say Fagét).

Built Green Seattle Design Competition
As reported in the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce (3/21/05) Blip Design, David Vandervort Architects, Environmental Works, Swenson Say Fagét and Mithun Architects + Designers + Planners were lauded for their contributions to residential projects honored in this year's Built Green Seattle Design Competition. The honored projects each met Built Green requirements for health and environmental soundness.
