Dan has been practicing structural
engineering for over twenty years. He is responsible
for day-to-day firm operations, business development
and administration. A generalist with broad experience,
he has a strong appreciation for architecture and construction.
His clients value his ability to integrate structural
design with other disciplines.
Dan's project experience includes
commercial buildings, single and multifamily residential,
medical facilities, libraries, museums and interpretive
centers, performing arts centers, public and private
K-12 and higher education facilities, churches, and
industrial buildings. Dan routinely works with commercial
real estate companies, landscape architects, artists
and interior designers providing services to support
their disciplines.
Dan's diverse expertise includes historic
preservation, renovation, structural studies, seismic
assessment, forensic investigation and expert consultation.
Dan is a lifelong resident of Seattle
and well connected in the community. His friends and
coworkers appreciate his sense of humor and compassionate
nature. He's a people person, and very easy to talk
to. When he isn't at work, Dan can be found watching
baseball, coaching little league games, or fishing.
He is married with three children. He also speaks Italian.
